Pocta, MAP has steadily grown into a leading environmental firm (headquartered at Landmark Square in Virginia Beach) that has consulted to public and private clients on over 600 assignments. After many years of success, MAP Environmental Inc. has been fortunate to have garnered several regionally important projects including the Lesner Bridge Replacement Study in Virginia Beach, the Norfolk Cruise Terminal, Chesapeake's Energy Center Coal Vessel Project (for Dominion Virginia Power), the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center project in Portsmouth and Suffolk, and infrastructure improvements to Smithfield Foods Corporate Office in Smithfield.
Our success is mostly attributable to the invaluable environmental and administrative staff that has consistently provided quality, timely and personalized environmental service during an era of ever changing, complex and challenging environmental rules and regulations. The environmental services are principally led by Mr. Paul Pascarosa, a UNC-Wilmington graduate, who specializes in environmental studies and reports, wetlands and stream delineation, Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, and Federal, State and local environmental permitting. Our administrative services are led by Ms. Sue Dalton, an Old Dominion University graduate, who performs a variety of important operational services. As with any professional consulting company, the lifeblood of our business is our clientele. Our growing list of clients includes both public and private companies in Hampton Roads and other parts of Virginia. A sampling of our principal clients includes:
