18th Annual Golf Tournament

As the COVID-19 pandemic eases its grip on society, Hampton Roads is witnessing a return to normalcy, particularly with outdoor activities and sporting events.
This week, MAP helped lead the Church of the Ascension’s 18th Annual Golf Classic at Heron Ridge Golf Club in Virginia Beach. The event, which garnered close to $20,000, will enable the Church of the Ascension and its Youth program to conduct mission work – both domestic and international – for the foreseeable future.
Over an eighteen year span, the golf tournament has grossed over $300,000 – net proceeds of which have helped young participants of Church of the Ascension to become missionaries, educators, disciples of Christ and religious leaders in their community.
