As 2018 starts to wind down and we approach the holiday season, we pause to recognize and give thanks to our many community partners over the past year. These associates, with whom we have been entrusted and blessed to serve over the year, include area businesses, non-profit companies, religious organizations and local churches.  Among those are Church of the Ascension, St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Missioners of Christ, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Marian Manor and Virginia Beach Housing Resource Center.

It is through these partnering efforts that our company’s employees have been engaged in many important volunteer efforts. Myles is again chairing the Church of the Ascension’s Youth of Ascension (Y.O.A) Golf Classic. Plans for the 16^th Annual Event are underway, and the tournament is scheduled for May 2019 at Heron Ridge Golf Course. Molly and her family are ushering-in the holiday season by gathering supplies and filling Shoebox Gifts for Samaritan Purse’s annual Operation Christmas Child program to help kids in need, while Andrew continues to participate in retreats and missions in Honduras with Missioners of Christ, and Stacey continues to volunteer in various outreach opportunities through the 757 yoga community serving Hampton Roads.

In this season of thanksgiving, MAP Environmental Inc. feels honored and blessed for this year’s many opportunities to give back to the community in which we live, work and play.  May each of us experience the essence of giving and good will towards our fellow man.
