Springing Ahead instead of Falling Back

By MAP Environmental Inc. | October 28, 2020

Summer is over, and daylight savings time is right around the corner. While it may be tempting to fall back with the time change, now is actually the time to spring ahead!

Look around and you’ll see pumpkin patches and harvest festivals, schools open for session and restaurants and retail shops are back! Here at MAP Environmental Inc., things are beginning to return to normalcy, and we are excited to begin work on multiple new initiatives within the mid-Atlantic region.

Yesterday, our team conducted a Lunch & Learn online session with Old Dominion University’s College of Sciences. This November, we are heading down to South Carolina to assist Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Charleston, with environmental permitting needed for upcoming facility improvements. Afterwards, we will be assisting Dewberry on Back Bay as Virginia Beach begins their most recent sea level rise initiative and marsh restoration project. These are exciting projects for us all !

In a time of continued uncertainty and decreasing daylight, it would be easy to slow down until our country gets its bearings – but at MAP Environmental Inc., we are focusing on the positives, hopeful that you will do the same. Let’s work together to wrap up the final quarter of 2020 on a high note and keep the momentum going by “springing ahead” instead of falling back!
